Veterinary Balances

Veterinary balances are used for different purposes. A vet can't do without one of these veterinary balances for weighing dogs, cats and other small animals. Veterinary balances are equipped with an RS-232 interface, allowing the vet to save the weight of the animal and use it later. The optional software kit allows further evaluation and analysis of weight. Veterinary balances are solid and made of stainless steel. A good example is the PCE-PM series veterinary balances with a stainless steel weighing pan and IP 54 which protects it against dust and water splash. This type of protection refers to both the weighing pan and the control pad. Disinfecting and cleaning the veterinary balances are easy to perform.  In order to meet DIN ISO 9000 (quality assurance) a laboratory calibration (including the calibration documentation) or a verification can be performed. This can be carried out by CE. All our veterinary balances are ENAC certified. If you wish to obtain ENAC certificate, contact an authorized laboratory. The verification of veterinary balances (only for those that can be verified) can be done when balances are ordered or as a reverification. Once an official verification has been done the veterinary balances can't be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but every other verification is valid only for one year and must be done annually.
