Extra TRMS METRAHIT Multimeter

The Extra METRAHIT TRMS Multimeter features a large display which is easy to read. The multimeter performs the measurement of voltage, true RMS current and resistance. In addition to measuring voltage, current and resistance, it also measures frequency, temperature and diode voltage. In the internal menu you can change the resolution between 6000 and 60,000. The multimeter allows a direct measurement of current and an indirect measurement via a clamp-type adapter. A patented system means that the Extra METRAHI TRMS Multimeter has an automatic system to block terminals. This system is activated in case of confusing the measurement leads, or when you select a range of measurement that is not admissible. The automatic block is a great advantage while performing various types of measurements. This feature is valuable especially in the field of education. The Extra METRAHIT TRMS Multimeter has an overload protection up to 1000 V in all measuring modes. At levels above 1000 V and current over 10 A or 16 A, the multimeter beeps. A message appears on the screen and informs the user that the input fuse of the measurement current is faulty.

The Extra METRAHIT TRMS Multimeter can measure the actual value to a frequency of 100 kHz. The multimeter display has 60,000 digits. Additionally, the digital multimeter has digital bar graphs to show the trend of the measurement. The internal data memory can store up to 61,000 measurements. The digital multimeter features adjustable APD. In short, it is the ideal equipment for any electronic engineer or for the field of training or daily use in the industrial sector. The TRMS Multimeters has the following advantage: it indicates the actual effective value regardless of the waveform. This is very useful while measuring highly distorted waveforms. Multimeters do not determine the actual efective value, they may indicate the exact value of pure sine waves only. If the waves are distorted, the measurement values will be wrong. Another advantage of the Extra METRAHIT TRMS Multimeter is the automatic blocking terminals. According to the selected range, you can only connect to the connectors specialised for this purpose. This avoids the risk of injury or property damage by improper handling.
