The adhesion tester measures adhesion of coatings on wood, concrete and other massive materials. It is offering a new electric controlled hydraulic pump. This first class hydraulic pump of the adhesion tester can be used in each position. All force gauges are certificated and calibrated on ± 1 % freedom from defects. A NIST detectable force cell will be used. A self-aligning dolly head ensures an accurate measurement on smooth and rough surfaces. The included rechargeable batteries will be able to take about 200 measurements. It is possible to do mains operations during the battery loading. A special advantage of the adhesion tester is the internal memory. The measured values of adhesion can be transmitted to the PC or Laptop via the optional available software. The measured values are also transmittable to MC Excel. The Adhesion Tester PT-AT-A will be delivered with aluminium measuring probes (dimension of 20 mm). Display	The adhesion tester’s display will give you further information besides the display of measuring results. Further information will be: Battery condition, measuring modus, memory modus (on / off) and speed (how much pressure and time is needed)
Surfaces The measuring device includes variable suspended measuring probes with plate face (aluminium). These probes will accommodate perfect to the surface material (varnish/laquer, rubber cover, laminate, plastic coatings/coverings). Aluminium measuring probes of 20mm will be delivered as standard. Different sized probes, that are optional available, can be changed easily.
Examples for application and usage
The adhesion of several components – protection mass on boxes or bins can be measured easily and with high accuracy. Examples for measured materials: Rubber coatings on metal or screed on concrete. The measuring instrument will be used mostly to measure: Multi-layered fibre plates, wood devices, adhesion of screed on concrete. Additional Equipment
- Software kit, RS-232 data cable included (for transmission of measured results to a PC as well as analysis of values). The measured values can also be transmitted into other programmes like MS Excel
- RS-232 Adapter (to convert the integrated RS-232 interface on USB. This is mostly necessary if you want to connect this adhesion tester with a PC to transmit the data.
- ISO-calibration certificate (for companies that want to integrate the adhesion tester into their ISO measuring device portfolio / calibration will be done with initial order or for an annual re-calibration to ensure a constant high accuracy
- Measuring probes Aluminium measuring probes also available in several sizes (several diameter)
- Bracket adhesives mass A tube of two components and a set of pads (axle grease)
- Special Kit 50 mm Ideally suited for low adhesion for example measurements on: Attic on concrete and wood or metal. This kit contains aluminium measuring probes with a diameter of 50 mm, cutting tool, bracket
- Special attic kit Normally, attic can be measured with the standard delivery content. In case that they are specially thick or coated with other coatings, this attic kit can be very useful
