PCE-123 calibrator
indicates the nominal value for simulations and measurement of input
electrical signals such as frequency and temperature

PCE-123 process calibrator/nominal value indicator is a device that doesn't depend on the mains connection and that is used to simulate regulation signals or units in the MSR technique with which you can test and calibrate almost any unit parameter and measuring instrument. The nominal value indicator provides an electrical output signal (mA, mV, V and frequency in Hz as well as temperature in °C or °F). The calibrator of automatic step or ramp functions, and selection of output signal jumps by percentage (0 to 100%) via up/down keys and direct display of the output value. The device is easy to use and it is operated via the keypad. This device is attractive due to its high level of accuracy and its wide range of application.

The device we offer is a high quality alternative to those which are normally found on the market.

Areas of application

PCE-123 calibrator with an SLT digital indicator

- The first image is the PCE-123 calibrating our SLT acoustic installation. The measurement range is from 30 to 130 dB (A) at the input signal of 4 to 20 mA.
  The calibrator emits, in this instance, as signal adjusted to 50% = 12 mA (range 4 - 20 mA) that corresponds to an indicator of 50% =  65 (64.9) dB(A) of the unit. You see how our sound warning device SLT operates.


- The second image shows an example of  testing the display of our high precision PCE-T395 thermometer. The calibrator is adjusted to type-k and with a thermal tension/temperature of 200°C. The PCE-T395 shows the value accurately and thus the device is ready to be sent to the client.

- In the last example we test the accuracy of a frequency measurement with our PCE-DM22 multi-meter with integrated data logger.
  The process calibrator is adjusted to an input signal of 20 kHz and as it is shown on our multimeter.
