Decibel meter series CR-260 (class I and II) integrated decibel meter with a wide measurement range, frequency filters (depending on the model) and interface RS-232 for online transmission
|
The decibel meter of CR-260 series has a selection of integrated systems of very simple handling to measure noise in workplaces for labour protection. This comfortable decibel meter meets the standards DIN IN 61672-1: 2003 (IEC 61672-1: 2002), therefore it corresponds to the modern devices of classes 1 and 2. The decibel meter includes the most common international measurement parameters. It has a very simple description how to handle the menu. At the following link you can find other sound level meters.

This series has the following measurement functions depending on the class I or II.
- Current Value of the sonorous level dB (A) - Average level (LAeq) - Acoustic Peak Level (LCPeak) - Acoustic max. Level(LAmax) - Acoustic min. Level (LAmin) - Fast Valuation “Fast”, “Slow” and impulses “Impuls” - The CR-263 and CR-264 decibel meters have octave filters View or print the user manual for the decibel meter

Easy to use |
With the button “Calibrate” you can initiate the calibration and with the arrows you can select the suitable measurement range. With the “Start” and “Stop” buttons, you will be able to begin and finalise the measurement. During the measurement, a numerical representation of all the values will appear, and in addition the current value will appear in a bar chart form. By pressing the “Graph” button the values will be represented in a diagram form with representation of the level of sound in the display. All the values appear simultaneously in the display. The last measurement always remains in the meter and it appears in the screen automatically whenever the meter is switched on. With the “Mode” key, you can change the fast “Fast”, slow “Slow” and impulses “Impuls” temporary evaluations. If you press “Mode” again, the decibel meter with octave filter change between operation with a broadband and operation with filter.
|
Uses |
- Noise measurement for labour protection
- Environmental noise measurement to protect the environment
- To choose hearing protectors
15th of February 2003: The new EU guidelines and norms were approved to substitute previous norms. New sound peak and minimum level values were established. The sound level meter measures these specific magnitudes. In addition it is possible to select evaluation with impulses. The prolonged leq sonorous level is simultaneously shown in the valuations so it can be inmediately read. The types with octave band filter of band will give you additional information about the percentage of frequency, which is very useful if you evaluate the protectors.
