PCE-E45 Fiberscope
flexible cable (45cm of useful length) with illumination for inspecting components in machines and systems that are difficult to access, with a diameter of only 4 mm

The PCE-E45 fiberscope allows for visualization of the insides of machinery and installations. This fiberscope is ideal for maintenance in industrial companies and and workshops. Never before has it been so easy to make an optical analysis with a fiberscope. Simply insert the flexible cable into a hole or cavity near the area that needs to be viewed and observe through the optics of the fiberscope. Thanks to the flexible guide, the weight and excellent optics, problems and weakness can be quickly and easily detected with this fiberscope. The allows for preventative measurements to be taken without the need to perform a costly disassembly of machinery. This fiberscope can be used for many applications thanks to the length of its flexible cable. The flexible cable can be shaped before it is inserted into a space. Once testing has been completed the fiberscope can be stored in its carrying case. There is an optional 45º mirror available to allow for a wider field of view.

The fiberscope with its flexible fibre optic cable also has a durable water resistant plastic handle.

Thousands of fiber optic cables make it possible to transmit the visual information from the lens to our eye. The flexibility of the fibers is an important part of making the PCE-E45 fiberscope almost unlimited in use.
The ends of the fibers are positioned identically at one end as they are at the other. When the fiberscope is in use, it sends a ray of light from the handle to the optical end allowing the area being viewed to be illuminated. The information of the image is sent back up the fiber optic cables to the user's eye.
