Flow Meter PCE-VS series Plastic flow meter for measuring flow in pipes and air vents for water Nm3 / ho l / h or water / h, depending on model
|
|
The flow meter is an instrument which determines the flow of fluids such as liquids or gases in pipes. The flow meter of the VS series operates according to the principle of the body in suspension. In the conical plastic test tube of the flow meter, there is a body in suspension that is lifted by the inertia of the fluid itself. The height of the body in suspension depends on the flow rotameter. If you increase the flow, flow resistance will increase too. The suspension of the flow meter body rises and increases the body surface between the suspension and the glass tube. This decreases the flow resistance until it is identical with the sum of the strength of the suspended body weight and buoyancy. The level as a measure for the flow can be read on a scale of the flow meter. Flow meter is available in different versions. The flow meter is equipped with a scale in l/h for water and Nm ³/h for air. The reading of the flow is facilitated by two adjustable setpoint indicators integrated into the flow meter. Additional components - Alarms contacts The alarm contacts VSK2 and VSK1 serve for external control of the flow you want to limit. They are inserted into the guide and can be adjusted to any value of the marked scale. A magnet permanently attached to the floating body opens or closes a reed switch built into the alarm contact. The switching function is stable. This means that the switching state remains active even if the magnet is removed from the contact. When installed after an alarm contact, keep in mind that you must change the standard floating body with the floating body magnet.
