With this small and handy geiger counter, radioactive radiation can be proven on the function principle of a Geiger-Müller counter. The geiger counter detects gamma and beta radiotion after a short measuring time of ca. 20 seconds and display the corresponding radiation exposure in the units µSv/h or µR/h. Within the measuring range of 0,03 ... 100 µSv/h, an alarm limit can be adjusted. When this limit is exceeded, the geiger counter warns due to an acoustic or visual signal. On the big TFT coloured display, the measuring results can be displayed numerically or graphically. The clearly arranged menu can be operated with the help of three buttons and offers useful functions as for example an energy saving mode or changeable brightness-, colour or soundsettings, next to the alarm function. The batteries, which are part of the delivery content, make an operating time of at least 10 hours possible. Next to the battery-operation, the geiger counter can also be supplied with power or charged via the USB-interface. Therefore, the geiger counter is the ideal device to prove roentgen radiation.
