PCE-DX-DS Shore D

This
hardness tester is for measuring the
the hardness of the surface (Shore D)
of hard rubber and plastic. It is
composed of a sensor with an 360º
anti-glare dial. It meets with such
standards as DIN 53505, ISO 868, ISO
7619 and ASTM D 2240. The device can
be calibrated at anytime, and an ISO
calibration certificate can be
ordered when required. For a better
eading of PEAK value, the device
comes with an additional needle that
freezes to mark the maximum point.
Once the reading has been taken the
needle can be reset to zero. With
the PCE-DX-DS (D) model, you will
always obtain values of the highest
accuracy and repeatability.

There are other, easy to use digital
devices for testing the hardness of
elastics (Shore A), which can be
found at this link.
This digital hardness meter comes
calibrated from the factory and
includes and ISO calibration
certificate.
