The inexpensive thermal camera PCE-TC 2 with installed digital camera helps to determine thermic problems in electric plants, to identify mechanic disturbances, to perform preventive maintenance measurements and to save energy. This thermal camera is optimal for all applications where measurement at given point is not sufficient owing to simultaneous, congruent presentation of real and IR image with a resolution of 47 x 47 pixels (picture-in-picture) and setting options of dissolve (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 %). The extremely inexpensive price of thermal camera offers many new opportunities of application that have not been possible due to high costs. It is ideal in preventive maintenance and construction … especially in mechanical engineering, heating engineering and electrical engineering. Many initiating losses in manufacturing can be detected in advance. Additionally, this thermal camera can be used in for building thermography. This thermal camera can also be used by untrained personnel owing to its light weight (only 700 g, without handgrip, with handgrip included in delivery 850 g) and its easy operation. Laser pointer of thermal camera allows an exact location of measurement area. Recordings will be stored on micro SD card directly as BMP file. You can see results on-site and can evaluate them with the camera (all images stored in camera can be shown in the picture gallery on the big 3.5” inches camera display) or can be executed on a PC with the software afterwards.
