The PCE-IT100 insulation meter is delivered in a robust carrying case.

Optional accessories
- Calibration certificate, meeting DIN ISO 9000. The certification includes a laboratory calibration and a test certificate containing all the measurement values.

- Resistance gauge to check the insulation meter. 

Value limits to consider when measuring insulation

- For new installations (dry spaces): 1000 Ω x V of the operating voltage (eg. 230 V > 230 kΩ)

- For new installations (humid spaces, open air): 500 Ω x V of the operating voltage

- Grounded device: 1000 Ω x V of operating voltage

- Device with insulation protector: 2 MΩ

- Electrical tools: 2 MΩ

- Low voltage: 250 kΩ

- Electrical meters: 5 MΩ

The values of test voltages are usually 100 V for installations with low voltages and telecommunication installations, 500 V for installations in buildings and houses and 1000 V for low voltage engines and transformers.
