Spygas is a pocket-sized, simple to use gas leak detector, which provides visual and audible indication of flammable gas concentrations. Due to the unique design, a manual "zero" adjustment of this leak detector for high concentrations is unnecessary, and the instrument has a range up to 10,000 ppm.
The gas leak detector is an ideal tool for the engineer and can be used in the detection of low levels of gas leaks from pipework. Microprocessor controlled and with one easy user control, this pocket-sized detector indicates gas concentrations from 20 parts per million, with visual indication when 100, 1000 and 10,000 parts per million are reached. The detector is battery powered and maintenance free. It is factory calibrated for determining the concentrations of methane in the air.
