The modular balance PCE-TB series stands out due to its multifunctional range of application. But not only the large range of functions of the modular balance is outstanding,  the communication options of the modular balance are interesting as well. The modular balance features a bi-directional RS-232 interface and USB interface. Thus the modular balance provides a very good foundation for every programmer (description of interface in instruction manual). The modular balance sends the information via keypress automatically to a computer either every time the weighing value is stable, continuously (approx. 10 values per second) or on demand. Another option to integrate the modular balance into a system would be the optionally purchasable interfaces, e.g. LAN-, WiFi-, analogue output 4 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 10 V as well as the weightlimit function with three potential-free contacts. Interesting functions of the modular balance are item-counting, percentage - calculation, formulation weighing, animal weighing, statistical weighing, summation function, threshold function, various weighing functions etc. The modular balance can operate on battery as well as via adapter, and is also applicable for mobile weighing tasks. Via the optional ProCell software you can import the weighing data of the modular balance into any system, where the data can be feed-in by keypress, such as Excel, Word, DHL, SAP etc. since the software simulates a manual data feed-in. Software Procell
The software is in german and is able to simulate a manual data feed-in and can transfer the data e.g. straight to Excel with time and date. There is also the option of saving a TXT file in the background. (data cable not included in delivery)

USB memory stick
If there is no computer connected, the data can be also transferred and stored on a memory stick with time and date as a txt. file. The memory stick can be adapted via the RS232 interface and the adapter does not require an external power source (adapter incl.).

ISO calibration / certification
For companies that want to admit the device to their internal pool of test devices. The calibration certificate is made by test laboratories and is a compare of the standard value and the measured value.

Test weights
By means of these test weights the modular scale can be checked regularly and adjusted again. To calibrate by means of weights in a regular and documented interval is often the better solution, instead of calibrating the scale itself, since it is the easier, more flexible alternative at a favorable price. Therefore M 1 weights should be used at least.

Analogue output 4-20 mA / 0 ... 10 V
The 16 bit analogue output converts the weight value into a mA or V signal, so that e.g. a SPS control system can response to that. Example with 4 ... 20 mA: At 0 kg a signal of 4 mA is sent, while at maximum load a 20 mA signal is released. The 20 mA / 10 V limit can be also adjusted individually.

Potential-free contacts
This contactor is called in short-terms an OC-contactor. It means that by reaching preset weight limits e.g. MIN / OK / MAX, the scale is able to switch a maximum of three contacts. The switch can be either set as an impulse or a continuous signal.

LAN interfaces
The modular scale gets its own IP address, which can be accessed by any computer inside the network, so that there is no requirement for a computer in reachable distance.

Wi-Fi interface
A simple and wireless connection can be also established via the WiFi-interface which makes the modular scale with its own IP address network-compatible.

Battery
This is a 6 V / 4.5 Ah Lead acid battery which is to put into the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale. The battery can be also put in subsequently. It will be charged by the modular scale. Operation time: see technical specifications.
