The Spin Hygrometer (centrifugal) PCE-SPS 1 determines the humidity content obtained by a wet and dry thermometer. At a certain temperature, the relative humidity of an air sample will depend on the temperature and pressure found by the Spin Hygrometer. To generate accurate results by the Spin Hygrometer, it is imperative that there is a minimum ventilation in the containers of the thermometer. For good results, there must be a minimum wind speed of 2 m / s in the two containers of thermometers. To do this, hold the Spin Hygrometer by the handle with your hand and spin at high speed until you get in the recipients of the thermometers a wind speed of 2 m / s. You can obtain readings when the two thermometers, especially the wet one, has reached a constant final value. Normally this value is obtained after 3 minutes. To check the reliability of the measurement results, it is recommended to repeat the action twice in a row following the instructions above.
