The online-viscosimeter RM 100L is a processing viscosimeter, which operates according to the rotation-principle. At the online-viscosimeter a test body is rotated by a mandrel in liquid that is to measure. Via the torque that an integrated motor engine of the online-viscosimeter has to achieve, information regarding the viscosity can be gathered. By its installation into a tubing measurement box, the online-viscosimeter RM 100L can be integrated directly into a process. Therefore the online-viscosimeter functions at higher flow rates as well as at lower flow rates. Via a Visco-RM software and an integrated RS232 interface the measuring values of the online-viscosimeter can be transferred automatically to a computer. Since the viscosity is heavily dependant on the temperature, the online-viscosimeter is optionally purchasable with a temperature sensor. For determination of the viscosity there can be set 19 different speeds at the online-viscosimter as well. The online-viscosimeter RM 100L is able to determine viscosities of 1 to 500,000 mPa·s.
