The most important advantages of the pressure manometer are:

Air flow velocity

With the help of a Prandtl tube, you can measure the velocity of air flow in m / s. The air flow rate can be measured with a resolution of 0.1 m / s. With the pressure meter PVM-620, the total pressure Pitot tube is hooked to the connector of high pressure and the static pressure tap to the low pressure connector. Before making any measurements, you must perform a device reset. Then the catheter is inserted with the tip in the opposite direction to the flow of gas or air and as parallel as possible to the duct, and then you can read the measured values. The velocity of the current air flow is calculated automatically. The air density in turn depends on atmospheric pressure and current temperature. Through the Pitot factor, the geometry of the Pitot tube used is taken into account. It can be adjusted, and for the Pitot tube is 1.00.

Pitot Tubes
You can get Pitot tubes in stainless steel. We offer three different versions. The model with a length of 305 mm fits perfectly with the pressure meter PVM-620. The elliptical shape of the head of the Pitot tube has the advantage that it reduces the measurement error caused by the different angles of flow during the measurement.
