Residual Current Device PCE-RCD 2

The Residual Current Device PCE-RCD 2 is a handheld and easy-to-use instrument to test SCHUKO sockets. The connection happens via a plug fixed to the residual current device. After connecting the Residual Current Device PCE-RCD 2, 3 pilot lamps reveal, if all connection of the SCHUKO socket do exist and are plugged in correctly. If all pilot lamps of the residual current device do light up, the wiring is correct. With a rotary switch the requested residual current for testing the FI protective plug can be chosen. The test current can be adjusted between 10 and 35 mA in intervals of 5 mA. Testing can be started via a key press. The residual current is now flowing via the residual current device in the desired height to release the protective plug. The socket itself will be used as voltage source of the residual current device. Internal batteries are therefore not necessary. This residual current device is suitable for measurements of current circles with an overvoltage category of CAT III up to a voltage of 240 V.
