PCE-RT1200 Roughness tester portable meter for the fast detection of roughness (Ra, Rz, Rq y Rt) with large display and RS-232 port
The PCE-RT1200 roughness tester meets all the expectations to detect the surface roughness. With the PCE-RT1200 roughness tester you can analyze different material surfaces. The PCE-RT1200 roughness tester can measure up to 4 different roughness parameters and transfer these data to a PC ( via the optional software). This is recommended if the PCE-RT1200 roughness tester is used for series measurements in order to control the entry of goods from suppliers, or to determine the quality control of the products at the laboratory. The PCE-RT1200 roughness tester will be delivered with a calibrated. Additionally, you can order a laboratory calibration and an ISO certificate (at extra cost). At the following link you will find an overview of roughness testers available at PCE-Instruments.

Rz: average depth roughness The depth of average roughness Rz is the arithmetic average of the lowest roughness depth of different adjacent measuring sections.
Ra: arithmetic average of the absolute values Ra is a roughness parameter used worldwide. It is the arithmetic value of absolutes values of the profile variations within the measuring section. The measured numerical value is always lower than the Rz obtained in the same profile roughness.
