PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow transmitter
ultrasonic flow transmitter to measure different liquids speed, as for instance water / insensible to shocks and solid objects in the environment

The PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow transmitter is a non-contact measuring sensor. This device is the ideal flow sensor when both duration and resistance are crucial. It allows a precise detection of flow without counting moving pieces. The PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow transmitter is the essential gauge while measuring moving parts as for example winged wheels. The liquid flows through a straight stainless steel tube isolated from any external element. The ultrasonic transmitter is placed outside the pipe and it has no contact with the environment. The measuring principle of the PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow transmitter is based on the ultrasonic transit time. There are two ultrasonic devices located in the external measurement tube. Both transducers are used as transmitter and receiver, sending an ultrasonic signal in the current direction and then in the opposite way. The difference between both ultrasonic speeds is proportional to the main flow velocity.
