The iPhone laser telemeter iC4 is a device for simple distance measurement. After downloading the relevant app, the iPhone laser telemeter can be immediately operated by simply connecting it to the iPhone®. The iPhone laser telemeter delivers accurate measuring results due to up-to-date laser technology developed in Switzerland. Due to that the measurement values are displayed very accurately. The iPhone laser telemeter features a measurement accuracy of ±3 mm, caused by the underground to which the iPhone laser telemeter is directed. Therefore it should be considered that the supporting face influences the measurement since the reflection and lighting of the objects background needs to be considered. Due to its high radiation the measuring result might be alternated at a minimum level. But the measurement inaccuracy never exceeds the mentioned 3 mm. But it is advised to not necessarily perform the measurement by means of the iPhone laser telemeter under to high or direct solar radiation. On the other hand the surface should be one that reflects very well. Despite the fact that the iPhone laser telemeter is a device with a simple design, it features a variety of functions. Thus the iPhone laser telemeter iC4 is able to perform summations and subtraction of the measured values. Thus the device represents a perfect tool for constructions, handcrafting, interior designing, and other day-in-day-out tasks, which require determining the distance to the ground, the ceiling, wall etc. A simple and quick installment allows an immediate operation of the iPhone laser telemeter. It designed for iPhone® 4 and for iPhone® 4S. Due to the Apple™ Lightning on a 30-pin adapter there is also the option to apply the iPhone laser telemeter on an iPhone®. The relevant app can be downloaded for free from the AppStore™. Further details are listed below. Working with the app or the iPhone laser telemeter does not demage the functions of the iPhone at all. Other apps, options, volume adjustment, microphone of the iPhone will not be effected in any way. For the distance measurement with the laser telemeter a laser hits the objects to which the distance needs to be determined. This laser is a class 2 laser, which means that it is harmless. Still eye contact with the laser should be prevented. Above an instruction for application of the iPhone laser telemeter in the midst of other objects is illustrated. In contrast to the acoustic discharge measurement, the iPhone laser telemeter is not affected by objects within range, since then the object would be falsified, because the acoustic waves would be also reflected by objects nearer to the measurement source, resulting in shorter distances being measured. The graphics above illustrate the advantage of a laser telemeter in contrast to an acoustic distance measurement. The red dots indicates which objects distance is actually being measured. With an acoustic distance measurement it is always the object being the nearest to the measurement device.
