The photometers AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 are very sensitive, mobile photometers for a precise determination of the substance-concentrations in water. The photometers AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 unite professional water analysis and highest operating comfort all in one. Due to their simplified handling the photometers AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 are equally operable by professionals as well as laity. Due to their telescopic measuring probes the photometers AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 cover a broad measurement range. Thus even low phosphonate- concentration can be detected easily and definitively. The photometer AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 work according to the principle of photometry known in chemistry and physics. Therefore the photometers send light beams of certain wave lengths through specifically coloured water samples. By capturing light intensity the concentration of the analyzed parameter can be determined very accurately. The photometers AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 measure without the need of any cuvettes and thus collect very accurate data about the water. The photometers do not have to be calibrated. A customary 3-volt-coin-cell that drives the photometers AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 allows up to 1,000 measurements. The photometer AQUA-CHECK & AQUA-CHECK 2 measures without cuvettes and thus collects very accurate measurement data. *- Coefficient of determination R² is a statistical rate. The closer the value gets to 1 starting from 1, the more accurate the test is. 
For example: If R² equals 0.98, the test shows an accuracy of 98 %.

Application

AQUA-CHECK in fields of aquaristics
The regular control of the water parameters is essential in fields of aquaristics. To guarantee an optimized water quality, is especially necessary for sensitive ornamental fishes. By means of the photometer the measurement data can be easily read and are shown precisely to the decimal place. Since even the slightest change in pH, nitrite or phosphate severely effect the health of fresh-water fishes and marine fishes.
