This wind meter with winged wheel sensor is ideal for determining the wind speed (air speed), temperature and humidity, both indoors and in outdoors activities. With this lightweight, portable wind meter, you can make a quick check on site. The smooth running winged wheel perceives very low current velocities (air flow speed) . The wind meter is a simple mechanical measuring instrument to determine velocities of air flow. The internal propellor that circulates inside the device will be blown in accordance to the wind velocity that is passing through the device. Through the outside force that influences the blade, the winged wheel gets into rotation. The motor speed will be measured immediately as flow velocity in (m/s). Even through frictionless storage frictional forces will appear that leads to a limited start up speed and therefore to deviation between velocity of circulation and start-up speed on the wind meter. This depends on the density of p. The deviation is increasing by rising density.
