PCE moisture balances have been designed to be used both in the industrial and in the professional sector. Moisture balances can determine the remaining dry matter after a drying process with infrared energy of the original matter previously weighed, so humidity is calculated in relation to the weight of the wet matter. During the drying process the decreasing of moisture in the material is shown on the display. Moisture balances are the ideal tools to determine humidity, the amount of dry matter as well as the consistence of volatile and fixed substances with high accuracy. These moisture balances are mainly used in the industrial sector to analyze pastes, mass, woods, adhesive materials, dusts,... for the production and control of materials. The weighing system of moisture balances shares all the properties with modern scales.
