Veterinary scales
|
|
These veterinary
scales have
multiple
applications and
uses. A vet can't do
without one of these
balanc es for
weighing dogs, cats
and other small
animals. Veterinary
scales are equipped
with an RS-232
interface, allowing the vet to save the
weight of the animal
and recover it for
later reference. The
optional software
kit allows for
further evaluation
and analysis of
weights. Veterinary
scales are solid
and made of
stainless steel. A
good example is the PCE-PM
series with a
stainless steel
weighing pan and IP
54 which protects it
against dust and
water splash. This
type of protection
refers to both the
weighing pan and the
control pad.
Disinfecting and
cleaning the scales
is easy. Our high
quality scales come
with a two year
guarantee. Our engineers are
available to help you assess our scales and balances that best suit your needs.

To
meet with DIN
ISO 9000 (quality assurance) a laboratory
calibration can be performed (including the
calibration documentation) or a verification. This
can be carried out be the CE.
All our veterinary scales come ENAC certified. If
you with to obtain an ENAC certificate, contact an
authorized laboratory. The verification of
veterinary scales, only for those that can be verified,
can be done when scales are ordered or as a reverification. Once an official verification has
been done the veterinary scales cannot be
recalibrated using an external calibration weight.
The first verification is valid for two years, but
each following validation is good for one year and
must be done annually. If you wish to obtain more
information regarding the verification of veterinary
scales or if you need scales verified, contact your
local authorised verification centre. You could also
consult one of our engineers or technicians if you
have any questions. |
