Sterile Technology

Sterile technology is indispensable in medical fields. Sterilisation and disinfection are procedures in which devices and materials are freed of microorganisms. Sterilisation is especially important and needed in medical practices and hospitals, where immunodeficient people can be exposed to germs. Mass-epidemics and contagion can thereby be prevented. Another application area is not in medicine but in food processing. Tinned food and packaging both of which come into direct contact with food are sprayed with antiseptics to kill such bacteria that may possibly have developed during production. Not only humans are protected from bacteria. An early decay of the food can also be prevented via sterile technique. Sterilisation through heating: Here, dying-kinetics of microorganisms is made use of.
