Mechanical and digital surface scales for professional use to obtain the weight of a sheet of paper in g/m² are available on this site. There are two models of surface scales: - Mechanical surface scales with weight ranges up to 900 g/m². - Digital surface scales with weight indicator in /m² or in g Mechanical surface scales are used to determine quickly the weight of papers, cartons or boxes. Furthermore, digital surface scales can be used for all kind of laboratory tasks, for instance, to determine the weight of papers, floor, tiles or fabrics in grams per square meter. Surface scales are delivered with two patterns (to cut the samples in thin papers). If you do not find the surface scales you are looking for, please contact us and we will help you find the best solution to suit your needs by calling our offices: +44 ( 0 ) 2380 98703 0 and our technical staff will advise you regarding our scales and balances. If you wish, we can provide you with an H-plane. Our engineers and technicians will be happy to help you with the surface scales, and of course, with the other products in the field of regulation and control, and measuring instruments.

Surface scales are able to determine the weight of diverse materials such as fabric, gum, leather, felt, tiles, etc. Both PCE-DMS 200 and PCE-LSZ 200C series surface scales show the weight in grams in relation to a square meter of material. In order to place the exact amount of 100 cm² on our surface scales we recommend the use of sample cutters to get reproducible results. Sample cutters help you to save time as well as they guarantee the homogeneous size of samples (100 cm²).
