Dosing pumps
Dosing pumps are used to add several fluids to different mediums. Dosing pumps can also be used in other application fields to dose several mediums exactly. Dosing pumps belong to the group of displacing pumps, but can also be separated into two other types: Fixed-displacement pumps and variable-displacement pumps. As the term "fixed-displacement pumps" tells, the fixed-displacement pumps displace always the same volume at the same rotations, whereas the variable-displacement pumps allow adjusting the pump capacity. The simple but precise process of the dosing pumps does always allow a broad application in different fields. Dosing pumps are also used in the industry. With the help of dosing pumps the industry or laboratories apply glues, dose medicines or add chemicals to processes. Especially for recipes in the pharmacy the dosing pumps are essential. The Dosing pumps allow making precise mixtures which are needed in this application field. Furthermore the Dosing pumps are used in agriculture or in animal breeding to distribute medicines. Even in car-wash stations you can find dosing-pumps. In that place Dosing pumps dose and supply detergents, wax and polish. Likewise Dosing pumps can be used to reduce chemicals in processes like water reprocessing to a minimum value. Dosing pumps are able to measure temporally constant a certain Volume. Dosing pumps improve the result and reduce or avoid the subjective mistakes or inadequacies which are results of the human failure. Therefore Dosing pumps guarantee processing reliability as a result of getting controlled by microchips. Furthermore Dosing pumps avoid the contact with corrosive substance which must get added to the process by the user. Experiences show that the purchase of Dosing pumps pay dividends quickly and Dosing pumps optimize the workflow.

Reciprocating pumps /
Dosing pumps: In this Dosing pumps a piston displaces the
medium in a linear movement with the help of a lift. The piston moves in a
cylinder which is furnished with a feed and an expiry. In the picture in the
first stroke the medium is aspirated through the feed and in the second stroke
pushed through the expiry. (Conveying of fluids and gases)
Peristaltic pumps / Dosing pumps: By
displacing the medium via mechanical, external influences in a flexible plastic
hose it will precisely be transported from the feed to the expiry. This
transportation of the medium can occur very precisely and is most used in the
medicine and laboratory technique (e.g.: infusion and blood pump)
Diaphragm pumps / Dosing Pumps: The
diaphragm pump is the easiest of all Dosing pumps. In this Dosing pump type a
diaphragm is stretched over a rectangular cylinder which is open on one site and
has got a feed and an expiry on head and foot side. This diaphragm transports,
as soon as it is pushed, the medium to the expiry and draws it in if the
diaphragm is tensed outward. (e.g.: aquariums or pools)
Gear pumps / Dosing Pumps: This type
of Dosing pumps draws the medium in through a feed via two meshing gear wheels
and transports it with the same rotary motion out through the expiry. This
procedure is suited for extra high pressures. (e.g.: oil-pump in car engine)
