The stainless steel floor scale is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel that is resistant to acids. The weighing cells mounted into the stainless steel floor scale have a protection class of IP68. The weighing platform of the stainless steel floor scale is plain and has no screw joints or warping so that the stainless steel floor scale is easy to clean. The platform of the stainless steel floor scale can be purchased in various sizes depending on the required weighing range. The stainless steel floor scale features the following functions: summation, counting, statistics, animal weighing, percentage weighing, determining formula, multiple tare, tare value can be saved, gross and net weighing as well as weighing limits, that can be set (MIN/MAX/OK). Furthermore the stainless steel floor scale can be equipped with an interface to adopt monitoring and controlling functions. Therefore we provide bi-directional RS232, USB, LAN and analogue interfaces with 4-20 mA or 0-10 V as well as three potential-free contacts /OC. Optional Equipment for the Steel Scale

Stand
The IP 65 display of the steel scale features an universal attachment offering the option to mount the display on a wall, a table or on the optionally purchasable approx. 80 cm steel stands. 

Ramp:
a ramp made of stainless steel to roll weighing subject onto the steel scale. Two sizes fitting the various sizes of the steel scale: 1250 x 1000 mm or 1500 x 1000 mm.

Interfaces
Due to its high protection category the steel scale does not feature any interface. Although there is the option to integrate these interfaces by order. They cannot be mounted subsequently.

Software Procell
The software is able to simulate a manual data feed-in and can transfer the data e.g. straight to Excel with time and date. There is also the option of saving a TXT file in the background. (data cable not included in delivery)

USB stick
If there is no computer or printer to be connected to the steel scale, the weighing data can be saved with time and date stamp as a txt.-file on a USB stick. The USB stick is to connect to the steel scale via the RS-232 interface. The adapter requires a separate external power source (adapter incl.)

Analogue output 4-20 mA / 0 ... 10 V
The 16 bit analogue output converts the weight value into a mA or V signal, so that e.g. a SPS control system can response to that. Example with 4 ... 20 mA: At 0 kg a signal of 4 mA is sent, while at maximum load a 20 mA signal is released. The 20 mA / 10 V limit can be also customized individually.

Potential-free contacts
This contactor is called in short-terms an OC-contactor. It means that by reaching preset weight limits e.g. MIN / OK / MAX, the scale is able to switch a maximum of three contacts. The switch can be either set as an impulse or a continuous signal.

Printer
For immediate print-out of values from the steel scale (e.g. for protocol of weighing data). Delivery of printer incl. RS232 printer cable and 240 V network adapter, paper width 112 mm ( 1 role incl.).

Signal lights
This signal lamp helps assuring a visible signal system for the whole personnel. If the weight is below the minimal limit, the yellow lamp brightens up, if the values are within the preset thresholds, the green lamp brightens, if the weight trespasses the upper limit, the red light starts brighten.

RS-232 cable
This serial cable has a total length of 1 m, and features the accordant pins 2-3/ 3-2 / 5-5 for a bi-directional communication path of the waterproof steel balance with a computer.
