Basic
scales

Within our basic
scales can be found
all types of scales
for use in the
kitchen.
Basic scales come
with many advantages
including their ease
of use and that they
have a tare function
making it easy to
put together
ingredients for
recipes. There are
five different
series of basic
scales available.
They can be powered
by batteries or by
connecting to the
mains, they have a
weight range of up
to 150kg, and a
resolution of
between 0.01 and
50g.
Some models have an
optional software
kit available which
allows for data
transfers to
computers. Apart
from being used in
the kitchen, these
scales can be used
in sport, for
example, the PCE-TS
150 series are capable
of weighing athletes
competing in
competitions. If you

All
out scales come calibrated.
Basic scales can have an optional laboratory ISO
calibration done if required. This would ensure
consistently accurate results. A classic use is
that of measuring the weight of fruit in the
kitchen. It can also be used for complicated
jobs such as for weighing a component in
construction such as screws or glue. Thanks to
its high level of quality, basic scales can also
be used in laboratories, such as for quality
control or in secondary schools or higher
education for science classes or even in
research and development. |
