To meet with the UE 90 / 384 / EWG standards, all scales have to be officially verified when one of the following occurs:

a) In trade relationships, when the price of the product is determined by its weight.
b)To make medicines in pharmacy as well as detailed analysis in medical or chemist laboratories.  
c)fficial activities such as determining rates, sanctions, official fines and  for surveys of objects in judgments.
d)For packaging production.

   It is recommended to protect pharmacy scales against wind.
