Why are
scales for dentistry necessary? How is the
gold in teeth calculated?
The ammount of gold establishes the
relation between gold and other materials in a metal. It
is calculated by means of a division in 24 parts. So, one carat
of gold has 1/24 parts of gold (= 4,166 %). Gold with 24
carats is considered to be the pure gold however it is
very difficult to eliminate all the impurities.
