Water Resistant Scales (Stainless steel scales)

Water resistant scales have been made out of stainless steel  and come with both dust and vapour emission protection so they can be used under the harshest conditions. Water resistant scales made with stainless steel edges are rounded and the surfaces are flat. The weighing cell has been encapsulated for a higher protection so these water resistant scales are also called "Heavy Duty scales" due to their extreme hardness. Another advantage is the great backlight display and the +/- weighing indicator which shows in an optical way the exact moment when the target weight is obtained (red, yellow and green). Morover, water resistant scales have a rising light strip as capacity indicator. To meet with the M III standard water resistant scales can be verified (only in SST series). To meet with DIN ISO 9000 (quality assurance) a laboratory calibration can be performed (including the calibration documentation) or a verification. This can be carried out by the PCE-Instruments Company. All our water resistant scales come ENAC certified. If you wish to obtain an ENAC certificate, contact your local authorised laboratory. Verification: To meet with the CE standard, all water resistant scales must be verified when they are used for one of the following functions:
a)In trade relationships, when the price of the product is determined by its weight.
b)To make medicines and formulations in pharmacy as well as detailed analysis in medical or pharmaceutical laboratories. c)For Official activities such as determining rates or sanctions.
d)fFor the production of packages.
If you require additional information about verification of water resistant scales, or you are not sure if you need a verified scale, you can contact your local authorised Verification Centre. Verification of water resistant scales , only for those that can be verified, can be done when scales are ordered or they can be sent for a periodical verification. Once an official verification has been done water resistant scales cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but each following validation is good for one year and must be done annually by the authorised verification.
