The axle scale PCE-DPW 1 is a traversable scale, which can weigh any vehicle axle-wise while it is traversing the scale. It is a low-cost option to weigh vans, trucks, tractors and any other vehicle without exception. The scale calculates the vehicle's total weight automatically by summing the axle loads. Thus no additional personnel is required for an operation with the axle scale PCE-DPW 1. The computer software automatically protocols the data of the whole weighing process and by automatically registering the weighing process and the driving direction, the axle scale can determine the transported load as well. The axle scale PCE-DPW 1 further supports statistical weighing, as the software features a separate weighing mode for that. The axle scale PCE-DPW 1 has to be set into a fundament. The delivery includes detailed instructions and maps for the installation. In addition the platform of the axle scale features a photoelectric relay system. Thus the driving direction, speed, size of the tire, axle diameters and overlapping of the axles can be recognized automatically. Installation frame for ground installation

The galvanized C-profile installation frame is made for the support of the hole's edges. Thus you can avoid that some fractures of the surrounding material might penetrate the axle scale and thus lead to inaccurate weighing results. Depending on the platform size, we offer two different frame sizes for the various frame sizes.

Extensions of the axle scale

The axle scale features a standard size of 3200 x 1000 mm. This size can be extended to  3400 x 1000 mm. The extension cannot be installed subsequently and should therefore be considered at the time of the order. Should you need a frame for the installation, you should watch the size then.

Connecting cable for axle scale

The cable for maintaining a connection between platform and analysis software, that is included in delivery has only a length of 10 m. If you wish to maintain a connection over a larger distance, you can order an extended cable up to 100 m.

Large display for axle scale

The optional large display of the axle scale allows due to a 125 mm LED display an easier read of the weighing results from a distance of even 100 m. The large display does not only indicate the weighing results but also other information: e.g. whether the axle scale is ready for weighing, any errors and the allocation number for allocated weighing. The cable length can vary.

Monitoring lights for the axle scale

The two lights indicate the state of the axle scale. Red means the axle scale is not jet ready for weighing and green means the weighing process can be performed, so the vehicle can be driven onto the scale. This solution is ideal for every user, whether he uses the axle scale for the time, since the operation is self-explanatory and easy. If you use a radio transmitter, the lights indicate whether the allocation number of the weighing process is right. The cable length is varying.

Monitoring camera for the axle scale

This camera supports various settings and can be used for recording images or videos of the vehicles, that traverse the scale. Those can then be allocated to the relevant weighing and function as monitoring instruments. The cable length is variable  (max. 100 m)

Radio receiver for axle scale

This radio receiver can due to the optional radio transmitters (AW0026011) receive their transmitted identification number. Thus the axle scale can automatically allocate the vehicles to the measurement data,  like e.g. empty weight, article number, customer and deliverer.

Radio transmitter for the axle scale

With this simple radio transmitter the vehicle approaching the scale can be registered. Thus the axle scale system can access the data storage and the weighing data automatically.

12 keys radio transmitter for the axle scale

This radio transmitter allows the driver of the vehicle to log into the axle scale. Thus the axle scale can access its memory and retrieve any previously set data on this particular weighing. Thus the weighing data can be allocated to the data that is already existing. Therefore the radio receiver AW00260 must be installed at the scale. The 12 keys of the radio transmitter are meant for feeding in any additional data, that is required for distinction. Example: The same vehicle is weighed with various articles each time. For a correct data care not only the vehicle data (empty weight) but also the article number or the customer number needs to be fed-in.
