The palettes scale is calibratable, and also initially calibrated scale, designed for mobile applications and having a U-shaped design. The size and measurements of the calibrated palettes scale PCE-SD U series is accordant to European standard palettes scales (1200 x 800 mm). The U-shape of the calibrated palettes scale allows easily positioning the EU standard palettes on the scale, even with a forklift preferably. This calibrated palettes scale is lacquered with steel. In order to maintain a flexible application of the calibrated palettes scale, it features two rollers and a handle, thus the calibrated palettes scale can be mounted and dismounted easily and quickly at different locations.  The measured data can be easily read from the separate display (connected to a 3.0 m cable). The separate palettes display features a 3.0 m long cable, so that it can be placed on a table or mounted to a wall or placed on a stand. Functions, that the calibrated palettes scale supports, are: unit counter, max./min. weighing, composition weighing, percentage weighing, average weight determination, summation function, tare weighing data storage, adjustable RS-232 interface. The bi-directional RS-232 interface can be used to transfer the weighing data to a computer or printer. If the palettes scale is not required as a calibrated version there are also non-calibratable palettes scales in our assortment. The minimum load is defined by the load, from which the calibration authority tests the accuracy of the scale. The waterproof steel scale shows even lower weights, but these are not valid for custody transfer.

Optional Equipment for the Calibrated Palettes Scale

Stand
The IP 65 protected display of the calibrated palettes scale features a universal holder to mount the display on walls or on a table. It can be also mounted on the purchasable stand  with a 80 cm height made of stainless steel. 

U-shaped platform
If you want to use a different platform size, e.g. industrial palettes sizes 1000 x 1200 mm or others, we can adjust the platform size to your requests. 

Software Package PCE-SOFT-BDM
Software for the palettes scale, incl. RS232 data cable. The software supports a data trasnfer from the scales to a computer with time and date. The data will then be saved as a txt.-file. In case your computer only supports USB interfaces, you will need a UBS adapter.

USB adapter
This adapter is meant for a conversion from a RS-232 interface to a USB interface. It additionally requires a serial cable with the right poling. The USB adapter comes with a system software. 

Printer with thermal paper
For immediate print-out of values from the guide rail scale (e.g. for protocol of weighing data). Delivery of printer incl. RS232 printer cable and 240 V network adapter, paper width 112 mm ( one role incl.).

Label printer ( incl. etiquettes) 
The label printer helps immediately printing out the measurement values. It will be delivered with a RS 232 interface cable and 230 V adapter. The width of the etiquettes counts max. 50 mm.
