Balances for Animals

Balances for animals are used for different purposes. A vet can't do without one of these balances for animals while weighing dogs, cats and other animals. Balances for animals are equipped with an RS-232 interface, allowing the vet to save the weight of the animal and deal with it later. The optional software kit allows further evaluation and analysis of weight. Balances for animals are solid and made of stainless steel. A good example is the PCE-PM series balances for animals with a stainless steel weighing pan and IP 54 which protects the balances against dust and water splash. This type of protection refers to both weighing pan and control pad. Disinfecting and cleaning the balances are easy to perform. Our high quality balances come with a two year guarantee. In order to meet DIN ISO 9000 (quality assurance) either laboratory calibration (including calibration documentaion) or verification can be performed. This can be carried out by CE. All our balances for animals are ENAC certified. If you wish to obtain ENAC certificate, contact an authorized laboratory. The verification for balances for animals (only for those that can be verified) can be done when balances are ordered or as a reverification. Once an official verification has been done, the balances for animals cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but every other  verification is valid only for one year and must be done annually.
