Analytical Scales
In our product range you will find analytical scales which come with software and the possibility to measure with an accuracy of 0.01 mg Analytical Scales with software and the possibility to measure to an accuracy of 0.01 mg(more analytical devices are available on request). Some analytical scales can be verified and have a plastic windscreen and an optional test weight. The interface allows to transfer data from the analytical scales to a computer. Further analysis can be done using the optional software kit. Analytical scales have multiple functions:
  - Automatic internal adjustment of weight, piece count, ISO GLP protocol, determination of percentage,
    RS-232 interface.
  - Powered by mains adaptor, software kit is optional.
Analytical scales come with various additional components and ISO calibration certificates. Our engineers are ready to help you and assess the scales and balances you might need. Contact us: +44 ( 0 ) 2380 98703 0.
Our engineers and technicians will be happy to help you with the analytical scales, and of course, with the other products in the field of regulation and control, and measuring instruments.

Not all the previously mentioned scales can be used as classic analytical scales. We made such a selection of scales to fit within the scope of analysis. Usually all analytical scales have a sensitivity of less than 0.1 mg. The result indicated in the document of analysis is the value of at least two results with sufficient repeatability (factor r). Electronic analytical scales frequently have an enclosure which can protect from oscillations due to air breath, calibration programmes and shock absorbers that can eliminate sudden movements. Our scales have all the fundamental prerequisites, depending on the model, and multiple components:

Software kit for our Analytical Scales.                  Printer for our Analytical Scales.                   Density equipment for our Analytical Scales.                   Test weights for our Analytical Scales.
Software kit                                 Printer                             Density equipment                        Test weights

Analytical scales are frequently used in the industrial sector as well as in quality control or product development. These scales are also used in research and development, in clinics, technical colleges and universities, typically in their laboratories. Analytical scales are high quality devices and are precise with resolutions of 0.1 mg, (an example is the PCE-AB series). The PCE-VXI 60/220 is a scale with a reading capacity of only 0.01 mg. If you need scales with a resolution of 0.001 mg, you should consider analytical scales which also notice evaporation of liquids. Furthermore, they have protection against air breath and a level to ensure they are portioned correctly.

Analytical Scales with internal test weight.Calibration certificate for our Analytical Scales. In the following image you can see scales with an internal adjustment weight. This weight is used for making automatic adjustments to analytical scales. The adjustment is done automatically, e.g. every two hours or if a temperature changes of ±1°C occur. This fact ensures a consistent high level of accuracy. Once the scale is turned on, it performs an internal check of all its functions which is initiated by an electronic component in the device and an adjustment is made by the internal adjustment weight. ISO certificate with calibration document or a verification which meets DIN ISO 9000 can be ordered.

Verification: according to CE certifications, analytical scales should be verified in one of the following cases (as we have just stated, verification can be done by an authorized verification office or by PCE Group):
   a) In commercial dealings when the price of the product is determined by weight.
   b) In the production of medicines in pharmacies, as well as in the detailed analysis in medical laboratories and pharmaceuticals. Official verification for our Analytical Scales.
   c) For concrete fees, tariffs or official fines, for technical expertise in court cases.
   d) For manufacturing packaging.
If you would like to get an additional information about verifying analytical scales, or if you are not sure whether you need a verification, contact the Verifications office for your country. Verification of analytical scales can be done when the device is ordered or it can be sent for periodic verifications. Once verified, the scales should not be recalibrated with a calibration weight.  The first verification is good for two years, every other verification should be done annually.
