Lifting Scales
On our website you will find lifting scales for the industry. Industrial lifting scales have a big display for reading the weight  properly. The smallest of our lifting scales have a weight range up to 20 kg and a bright display which can be clearly read from a relatively far distance. TZ-x series lifting scales have a weight range up to 20 t. Due to their infrared remote control, lifting scales can be used under harsh conditions (only some models). Lifting scales have a safety factor of 4. Maximum safety overload protection is 400% in different weight range (some models have an overload safety factor of 5/500%). Spare parts like line charger and accumulators are available in all our lifting scales. Lifting scales can include ISO calibration certificates. Calibration includes a laboratory calibration certificate (with the customer's information). Verification of lifting scales  (only for selected models) can be performed by the local authorized verification center or by PCE Instruments company. Once an official verification has been done, the lifting scales cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but every other verification is valid only for one year and must be done annually. It is recommended for those companies, that wish to make an internal quality control for their lifting scales, to recalibrate them annually or to require an ISO calibration certificate. If you wish to get more information regarding the verification of lifting scales or if you are not sure whether you need verified scales, contact your local authorized verification centre. In order to meet the ISO 9000 standard, certificates consist of a laboratory calibration and a certificate with the testing results. The certificate will contain either the company name or the details of the customer except for series II scales (which have to be verified in situ).
