Load Cranes
On our website you will find load cranes for the industry. Industrial load cranes have a big display to read the weight properly.  The smallest of our load cranes have a weight range up to 20 kg and a bright display which can be clearly read from a relatively far distance. TK-x series load cranes have a weighing range up to 20 t. Thanks to their infrared remote control, load cranes can be used under harsh conditions. (only in some models). Load cranes have a safety factor of 4. Maximum safety overload protection: 400% in all the weighing ranges (some models have an overload safety factor of 5/500%). Spare units like line charger and accumulators are available in all our load cranes. Load cranes can include an ISO calibration certificates. Calibration has a laboratory calibration certificate (with the customer details). Here are some further details of our load cranes with a weight range from 100 kg to 20.000 kg. Load cranes are often recommended to be used in the loading ramp because the weight of the load can be read directly. However, they are also commonly used in the production field, for instance to elevate a drum to read the weight and to see conclusions directly in the production site. In the upper images you can see load cranes in a galvanized installation. Load cranes must be verified when they are used to determine the price of a product according to its weight. Verification of load cranes (only for selected models) can be performed by the local authorized  verification or by the PCE Instruments company. Once an official verification has been done the load cranes cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but each following validation is good for one year and must be done annually. It is recommended for those companies that wish to make an internal quality control to their load cranes, to recalibrate them annually or to require a ISO calibration certificate. If you wish to obtain more information regarding the verification of load cranes or if you need scales verified, contact your local authorized verification centre. You could also consult one of our engineers or technicians if you have any questions. To meet the ISO 9000 standard, certificates consists of a laboratory calibration and a certificate with the results of the testing. The certificate will show either the company name or the details of the person who order the scale, except for series II scales (which have to be verified in situ).
