Load Scales
On our website you will find load scales for the industry. Industrial load scales have a big display to read the weight properly. The smallest of our load scales have a weight range up to 20 kg and a bright display which can be clearly read from a relatively far distance. TK-x series load scales have a weighing range up to 20 t. Thanks to their infrared remote control, load scales can be used under harsh conditions (only in some models). Load scales have a safety factor of 4. Maximum safety overload protection: 400% in all the weighing ranges (some models have an overload safety factor of  5/500%). Spare units like line charger and accumulators are available in all our load scales. Load scales can include an ISO calibration certificates. Calibration consists of a laboratory calibration certificate (with the customer details). Here are some further details of our load scales with a weight range from 100 kg to 20.000 kg. load scales are often recommended to be used in the loading ramp because the weight of the load can be read directly. However, they are also commonly used in the production field, for instance to elevate a drum to read the weight and to see conclusions directly in the production site. In the upper images you can see load scales in a galvanized installation. load scales must be verified when they are used to determine the price of a product according to its weight. Verification of load scales (only for selected models) can be performed by the local authorized verification or by the PCE Instruments company. Once an official verification has been done the load scales cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but each following validation is good for one year and must be done annually. We recommend to those companies that wish to make an internal quality control to their load scales to recalibrate them annually or to require a ISO calibration certificate. If you wish to obtain more information regarding the verification of load scales or if you need scales verified, contact your local authorized verification centre. You could also consult one of our engineers or technicians if you have any questions. To meet the ISO 9000 standard, certificates consists of a laboratory calibration and a certificate with the results of the testing. The certificate will show either the company name or the details of the person who order the scale, except for series II scales (which have to be verified in situ).
