Precision Scales

You will find precision scales in our general index. Our precision scales convince people by their accuracy, their wide weight range as well as by their high quality. Many of our precision scales have a built-in level to direct scales with a high precision an accuracy. Precision scales are those scales with a resolution of 0.1 g or higher. At the top, information about precision scales with a resolution of 0.01 mg is also available. These precision scales are normally used both for analysis and for quality controls at laboratories. Precision scales are commonly used in technical colleges, universities, quality assurance laboratories as well as in all those institutions where accurate weights are needed. When precision scales have a resolution of 0.01 g a protection against wind is recommended because even the breath of air can have a negative effect on the weight. If you wish to place precision scales in site with a high degree of vibrations (i.e. vibrations derived form production machines that cause vibrations in the basis or in the building) you should place them on a vibration-damping table. Vibration-damping tables are made in massive granite and the air damping avoids either vibrations or oscillations effectively. To meet the DIN ISO 9000 (quality assurance) a laboratory calibration can be performed (including the calibration documentation) or a verification. This can be carried out by the PCE-Group company (only for class I and III; class II precision scales must be verified in situ). All our precision scales come ENAC certified.
