Temperature transducers
Temperature transducers
are very common nowadays. Temperature
transducers
are
used in the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning
sectors as well as in any other place where
it is required to test the production
process temperature. Temperature
transducers vary depending on the measuring
principle. There are available different
temperature transducers models. Temperature
transducers to measure temperature by means
of infrared radiation are used to determine
surface temperature. Besides, there are
other temperature transducers used to
measure the air temperature converting it to
a normalized signal. Temperature transducers
are usually connected to a separate control
unit. Temperature transducers transform a
temperature physical magnitude into a
electrical normalized signal which are
transferred to a control device. This fact
allows to reach the maximum or minimum alarm
value, turn on/off a heating machine, etc..

Temperature is one of the most commonly measured
physical magnitude.
Temperature transducers make visible temperature
to the user; whether it is the temperature of a
house or an office, as well as the accurate
temperature of a material to influence the
melting process. Temperature transducers can
detect environmental or surface temperature by
means of a thermo-element or a resistor
transforming it into an electric signal. A
temperature transducer connected to a control
device can control a process. This allows to
test the temperature of a place and with the
help of the control device, air conditioning can
be activated if necessary. If temperature
transducers are used in combination with a
register, you will be able to test for instance
a cold chamber to ensure that the temperature is
the proper one for the food industry. Apart from
the image register, a PLC can ensure a constant
temperature in the cool chamber. |
