Precision Force Gauge PCE-FG series
Force gauge for measuring traction and compression / internal memory with manual or automatic record / graphic display / measurement of limit values / PEAK function / RS-232 port with software is included

The PCE-FG series precision force gauge is a very accurate portable device. The precision force gauge has an internal dynamometric cell to measure traction and compression forces up to 500 N (50 kg) depending on the model. The precision force gauge takes into account gravitational force of the measurement place in order to get a higher accuracy of  0.05 %. Gravitatory force can be set manually or with the help of GPS. The PCE-FG series precision force gauge has two measuring velocities to get a real time record due to the measurement rate up to 40 values per second. The precision force gauge has a graphic display to view stored values. There are three available languages: Spanish, English and German. The display of the force gauge can be turned at 180°, allowing the readings to be visible regardless of the device position. Measurements can be stored manually or by pressing a button if the measurement rate has been previously set (0.1 to 99.9 s). Its large memory allows to store 8 memory positions with 800 measurements each, which can be individually identified and saved. The precision force gauge offers a statistic valuation which includes such details as the number of measurements, total force, average force, max. and min. values, single values and histogram graphic representation. Data can also be directly printed if the  precision force gauge is connected to a printer. A simultaneous indication of the current value and max. and min. values allows to obtain the PEAK function. Different measuring units are available: N, kg, g, lb y oz. The PCE-FG series precision force gauge can be calibrated by means of an external calibration weight in order to balance the natural deviation of measuring instruments. At the following link you will find our force gauges to suit your needs.

Software

The PCE-FG series Force Gauge with dynamometric cell to measure traction and compression forces is delivered together with a software.

The PCE-FG series force gauge with dynamometric cell to measure traction and compression forces is delivered together with software. The software allows the user to read and check values detected with the force gauge. The force gauge shows a traction and compression measurement with limit values. Below, you will find a statistical valuation of the measurement, max., min. and average value as well as different settings of the PCE-FG  series force gauge.

Delivery content:
1 x PCE-FG series precision force gauge, 6 x adapters, 1 x extension rod (90 mm), 1 x software (with RS-232 data cable included), 1 x mains component, 1 x carrying case.

Optional accessories
- ISO calibration certificate
For companies that wish to incorporate the device into the internal quality control tools or for annual recalibrations. The ISO certificate includes a calibration and a document containing all the readings.

PCE-FG series Precision Force Gauge: ISO calibration certificate.

- RS-232-USB-Adaptor
In case your PC or Portable uses USB-Interface, you can use the adaptor in connection with the standard RS-232 cable. A small software (covering all the actual drivers) is included.

PCE-FG series Precision Force Gauge: In case your PC or Portable uses USB-Inter-faces.

- Printer
Measured results can be recorded or printed as a report. In such report, data, time and the measurement description are included.

PCE-FG series Precision Force Gauge: Printer.

- Test position and adapter plates
As our test positions are designed to be used with different force gauge models, adapter plates are required to ensure that the force gauge is fixed to the test position.

PCE-FG series Precision Force Gauge: Test position and adapter plates.

- Test position
The force gauge can be combined with any of the three test positions we have available. Two test positions are equipped with a crank and the other has a motor. The effective use of the test position is in daily testing of materials in a laboratory to maintain the same conditions, eliminating the possibility of human error.

The technical specifications for the different positions are available at this link: Test Positions.

Descriptions of test positions can be found within the corresponding on-line category: force gauges.

PCE-FG series Precision Force Gauge: Test position.

Notice: The internal dynamometric cell does not need any maintenance, it is light and characterised by its long working life. In the manufacturing of the dynamometric, only high quality material are used to ensure the maximum safety and duration. The force gauge has an overload range available. In case of being exceeded, the dynamometric cell will be destroyed. While choosing a force gauge for your work, please take into account the measurement range and choose a force gauge model with a wider range than the measurement you wish to perform.
