Floor Scales The floor scales are composed of a ribbed, non-skid plate, four moveable weighing cells and easy to use terminal. These floor scales have optional accessories available such as access ramp, a wall mount, floor plates, a long cable, tripod and tripod base. The RS-232 interface allows the floor scales to be connected to a computer or printer and for data to be transferred. Further analysis can be carried out with the help of additional software. Readings can also be exported to other software such as MS Excel. Floor scales require a mounting plate to ensure they are flat. The installation of a H-plane in the area you wish to install the pallet scale must be performed prior to the delivery. If you wish, we can provide you with an H-plane. Our engineers are available to help you and assess the scales and balances you might need. Call us on: our offices: +44 ( 0 ) 2380 98703 0. Our models of scales and balances can be calibrated and verified. A calibration or verification can be ordered (at additional cost) when purchasing one of these models. The first verification can be done at your local verification centre. Regular calibration of floor scales, according to the ISO internal quality control document, and verifications should be done in situ. If you are not sure if your floor scale requires a verification, or if the calibration certificate you have is sufficient, please read the following information carefully. According to CEE certification 90/384, all floor scales should be verified when:
a)The commercial price of a product is determined by weight.
b)The scale functions in an official capacity in determining fees or sanctions,
c)In packaging production.
If you require an additional information regarding the verification of floor scales, or if you are still not sure if you need a verified floor scale, locate your local verification office or you can call us directly. Our engineers and technicians will be happy to assist you and help you choose the right floor scale. Call our offices on: +44 ( 0 ) 2380 98703 0 .
