On our website you will find light postal scales provided with plastic cases or heavy postal stainless steel scales. Some postal scales can be powered by external batteries to get more mobility. Postal scales with weight range from 30 to 60 kg are the most requested by the customer. Some models with RS- 232 interface have optional software to allow for data on the display to be printed or stored data to be transferred to a computer. This function make your job more convenient. If required, data can be sent to other calculation programmes such as MS Excel. Many scales are not used only for postal purposes but they can be universally used in the industrial sector. Additionally, almost all postal scales have piece count or percent calculation functions (scales with percentage function determine the variation in relation to the weight of the corresponding reference). PCE-PM series postal scales have an internal software prepared to be connected to different logistics companies software by means of the optional RS-232 data cable. The following logistics companies are currently in postal scales:

To meet the ISO 9000 standard (quality assurance) a laboratory calibration can be performed (including the calibration certificate)  or a verification in our company PCE-Group. All our postal scales come ENAC certified. If you want to obtain an ENAC certificate, contact an authorised laboratory (at the ENAC link you can see all the authorised laboratories). The verification of postal scales (only for selected models) can be done when scales are ordered or as a reverification. Once an official verification has been done the postal scales cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but each following validation is good for one year and must be done annually. If you wish to obtain more information regarding the verification of postal scales or if you need scales verified, contact your local authorised verification centre.
