Industrial Scales
|
|
On our website we offer you a wide range of industrial scales such as laboratory scales and package scales. Industrial scales can be used in different professional sectors. They are powered by rechargeable accumulators or via the mains 240 V (with an adapter of 12 V), so you can flexibly use industrial scales. Industrial scales have all the essential functions: zero reset function, tare function and piece counting function. With the piece counting function, available in many scales, you will be able to sum up insulated weight (very useful for the annual inventory). All industrial scales can have an ISO certification with their components and weights. Many models have RS-232 interface for data to be transferred to a computer (optional data cable and software) for being evaluated. If you can't find the industrial scales you are looking for, please contact us and we will help you find the best solution which suits your needs: +44 ( 0 ) 2380 98703 0. Our technical staff will advise you regarding our products. Our engineers and technicians will be happy to help you with the industrial scales, and of course, with the other products in the field of regulation and control, and measuring instruments.

Many industrial scales can be widely used in the professional sector and for weighing packages. So, almost all industrial scales have a piece counting function or percentage function (percentage function shows the variation in relation to the weight of the corresponding reference). On the website, you will be able to get official control certificates as well as calibration certificates (for calibrated industrial scales). Bellow, you can see some examples of the professional appliance of these scales.

Inventory scales are very useful for the annual inventory and are quickly adapted to the professional use. You will not waste your time any more for counting small pieces such as screws, nuts or washers by hand. If you use our inventory scales, you will need only a little amount of pieces (usually 10 or 20 pieces), put them on the scale and enter the number of pieces. Then, the scale will calculate the real weight of each piece. Now, you can enter the initial number of pieces in the scale and it will show you the real number of them. PCE-CBS industrial scales have additional functions which can make your work more convenient. Knowing the weight of the piece, you can enter it in the scale. You can also enter the tarring weight and choose the reference number of pieces. Inventory scales should be chosen according to the minimum weight of the piece for the piece counting function. In order to choose the industrial scale which suits you, it is important to bear in mind that industrial scales with an internal resolution of only 10 grams cannot weigh pieces of 0.1 grams.
Inventory scales must be verified when they are used for packaging.
It is necessary to meet verification law, that is why our inventory scales are already verified. Technical specifications can be found in the engineering data of all the different models of our inventory scales.
The symbol for mixing (recipes) in the engineering data of Industrial scales means that these scales can be used for mixing and making recipes. Verification: According to CE 90/384 CEE standard, all industrial scales must be verified when they are used for one of the following purposes (as we have just pointed out, verification can be carried out by the local authorized verification centre or by PCE Instruments company except for series II scales which have to be verified in situ):
a) In trade relationships, when the price of the product is determined by its weight. b) To make medicines in pharmacy as well as detailed analysis in medical or pharmaceutical laboratories. c) For official activities such as determining rates or sanctions. d) For the production of packages. If an additional information about verification of industrial scales is required, or if you are not sure whether you need a verified scale, you can contact your local authorized verification centre. Verification of industrial scales (only for specific models) can be done when scales are ordered, or they can be sent for a periodical verification. Once an official verification has been done industrial scales cannot be recalibrated using an external calibration weight. The first verification is valid for two years, but every other verification is valid only for one year and must be done annually by the authorized verification centre. If you have not found the industrial scale you are looking for, please contact us and our engineers will be happy to help you asses our scales and balances which suit your needs.
