PCE-318 noise meter
noise meter with a range between 26
and 130dB (A)
and an analogue output
/ can be recalibrated /
class II (accuracy ±1.5dB)
|
|
The PCE-318
noise meter determines the volume from an
acoustic level of 26dB(A). Therefore, the PCE-318 noise meter is perfect
to determine even minimal noises, such as those emitted by computer
fans. The class II noise meter with a large display is
suited to take measurements in various environments,
for example the
work place, in the control of machines, etc.
This device has been developed according to
IEC 651 type II and
has an accuracy of ±1.5dB. Another
advantage of this noise meter is its analogue output that allows
to be connected to an external data logger to take readings
over a period of time.
Here
you can find other noise meters with similar
technical specifications but with internal an memory and software.

Acoustic calibrator
Acoustic calibrator for a regular recalibration. The noise meter
will be delivered calibrated but the sensor suffers oscillation over time.
With the acoustic calibrator the device can be recalibrated
independently to allow for optimal measurements. |
 |
|
ISO calibration
certificate
For companies that wish to include
the
device in their group of internal tools or for annual recalibrations
(if the calibrator is not used).
The ISO calibration includes a laboratory calibration
that includes a document with all the measurement values. |
 |
|
Data logger
The device can be attached to this data logger to
take measurements over a long duration of time. The data logger has
4 inputs and a memory capacity for 32,520 readings. If you
connect four devices to the data logger at the same time,
approximately 8000 readings will be available for each channel.
In order to use the data logger, you must purchase the
necessary software pack and cables. |
 |
|
Software
pack for the data logger Windows software
and RS-232 cable for
the use with the data
logger. The software allows you: -
to adjust the data logger's settings -
to read the stored data - to graphic representation of readings on a PC |
 |
|
RS-232 to USB
adaptor
The software pack will be
delivered with a standard RS-232
data cable. If you wish to send the data online or transfer
the data saved in memory to a laptop or another portable data device,
you will need this USB adaptor. |
 |
|
Power cable 180 cm
long, open-ended cable that you can connect directly to the data logger, or
DC inputs of 0 to 2.5 volts at
one end and a jack connector at the other end (the
jack connector is included a as part of the noise meter
delivery). |
 |
|
Power adaptor
The supply of regular power will prevent
erroneous measurements caused by failing batteries. If you
take measurements over long periods of time with the
connected data
logger, it is recommended to use a power adaptor. |
 |
|
Tripod
Light-weight aluminium tripod.
It is useful to make series of measurements and it guarantees that
readings can be reproduced more accurately by keeping the microphone
fixed in place.
Furthermore, the user is free to
record readings manually or to perform other tasks. |
 |
|
Microphone extension cable
5 meter long cable. If the noise meter is used
with this component, it can measure the
source of sound in machines directly or
check
products.
The cable makes it possible to take
measurements in areas that are difficult to access. |
