Air Velocity Meters
Here you will find air velocity meters to measure air velocity and air pressure. Depending on the type of application, air velocity meters are made as hot wire air velocity meters or pocket weather air velocity meters, both of which can measure air velocity and air pressure. The results of measuring the air velocity can be stored in memory, depending on the model. There are a total of 25 air velocity meters available. They are ideal for taking quick or constant measurements. General information with a link for each example of typical Air Velocity Meters units of measurement: Air Velocity Meters serve to measure wind velocity. The standard of measurement for wind velocity is at an altitude of 10m, as ground level wind velocity varies considerably for each different location. The measurement is taken according to the type of Air Velocity Meters, for example, thermal measurement (hot wire Air Velocity Meters), measurement by cooling a hot wire, mechanical measurement (side wheel Air Velocity Meters) or by pressure (Pitot tube Air Velocity Meters). Read the user's manual to ensure that the Air Velocity Meters is being used correctly, if it is not used properly. In the case of the side wheel Air Velocity Meters, there is a risk of damaging the sensor wheel if it is not facing the airflow correctly as the wheel functions in only one direction. When using the hot wire Air Velocity Meters, you must ensure that the air flow does not contain dust as the particles will impact with the sensor which is very sensitive. As the sensor is the most important part of the Air Velocity Meters, if it is damaged, the device will be useless. For this, use the side wheel Air Velocity Meters in light environmental conditions up to an air velocity of 5m/s. For greater velocities, it is recommended that you use the Pitot tube Air Velocity Meters as they are very accurate, durable and have a very high measurement range.
