Laser distance levels
Laser distance levels are used for accurately determining the distance of an object from another object without contact, Laser Distance Meters used in the industrial sector and especially with the professions relating to construction, such as carpentry, masonry, by locksmiths, etc. this task is completed using a laser. These laser distance levels are frequently used in the industrial sector and especially with professions relating to construction, such as carpentry, masonry or locksmiths. These laser distance levels are attractive due to their ease of use and their high level of aLaser distance levels used in the industrial sector and especially with the professions relating to construction, such as carpentry, masonry, by locksmiths, etc.ccuracy in the results recorded. They come with a Leica lens, the world leader in producing optical distance measuring meters. They can measure, save the readings and determine the surface and then show the volume or height on their display. We also offer laser distance levels for fixed mounting for multiple applications in the industrial sector such as position testing, testing coil weight and other industrial tasks. There are also laser distance levels that can measure longer distances with a range beyond 600 meters. Finally, we offer mechanical laser distance levels such as odometers for measuring large distances. If you can't find the laser distance levels you are looking for, please contact us and we will help you find the best solution to suit your needs by calling our offices on: UK customers +44(0) 23 809 870 30 / US customers (561) 320-9162 and our technical staff will advise you regarding our measuring instruments. Our engineers and technicians will be happy to help you with the laser distance levels, and of course, with the other products in the field of regulation and control, and scales and balances.

There are accessories for some of our laser distance levels to make the measurement easier as well as to help you with taking it. These products are demonstrated just below.

Laser distance levels: The laser fixed target makes it possible a better reflection from a long distance to the specific target Laser distance levels: better view the target Laser distance levels operate with Class II laser.

The laser fixed target makes it possible to get a better reflection from a long distance to the specific target. (It is recommended from 40-50 metres).

If you wish to get a better view of the target, laser distance levels should
have a telescopic sight integrated.
(If they do not have any)

Laser distance levels operate with Class II laser. In general there is no  danger using this laser. Goggles can be used to view the laser point properly.

Below you can see some illustrative photos of laser distance levels in use. These devices are invaluable for architects, painters, welders, urban planners, decorators, for cleaning companies, for topography or professional planners or estate agents.

Below you can read another personal comment in relation to Leica laser distance levels:
''Who uses once the Disto Leica laser distance levels, forgets measuring tapes and other measuring systems, as well as the ladder and the assistant who holds the measuring tape or the stairs''  Franz Noser, from Gesta AG Company. He is a project manager in the building industry and determines distances, areas and volumes by pressing a button. This is a quicker, more accurate and cheaper than other conventional solutions. All these advantages have made laser distance levels very important tools in the building sector and others.

Use of Laser distance levels

Use of Laser distance levels.

Use of Laser distance levels.

Franz Noser is one professional who is saving money by using laser distance levels for many years. “When I wanted to measure the height of a facade, I needed a ladder. Almost always, I needed an assistant to hold the ladder and the measuring tape. Our acrobatics on the stairs during the measurement of very tall buildings were both dangerous and quite inaccurate. Even these measurements seem to be easier with the help of laser distance levels”.

Laser distance levels: Class types: Our devices operate with laser Class II. Here we will give you information about three laser types. Laser Class I is a low power laser, you can look at this laser for hours without damage to the retina. In theory there is some danger with this laser type, however, it is well encapsulated in its case and there is not any direct contact (this laser type does not have any compact disc for instance). Laser Class II are visible lasers (i.e. a colour laser) up to a power of  3 to 10 W for all wavelengths. This laser Class II would be dangerous for human eyes but nature has adapted human’s eyes to the sunlight which would be classed as a laser Class II due to its power. Our eyelids provide exceptional protection from lasers of Class II grade. The following laser, Class III is divided into two groups: a and b. Lasers from Class IIIa are visible and Lasers Class IIIb are invisible. These lasers in Class III can be found in a wide range of applications in any sector of modern society including diverse fields such as consumer electronics, information technology (IT), analysis in science, medical diagnostics, as well as in the machining, welding or cutting systems in both industrial and military sectors. In many applications the benefits of laser have to do with its physical properties such as the coherence, high monochromatic and the ability to achieve extremely high powers as for instance in the field of medicine. We should take several precautions when dealing with these laser types (such as goggles, danger indicators and any other precautions seen fit by risk assessment). Our Laser distance levels operate with laser Class II which are harmless to humans.
