The PCE-TG120
is a thickness gauge that is easy to use for
all types of materials. This thickness gauge accurately measures
the thickness of walls and other materials using ultrasonic sound.
A different velocity of sound corresponds with each type of
material.
The device comes from the factory with 5 different preset
sound velocities for different materials. With this device, the
user can determine, in a matter of seconds, the thickness of
metals, glass, plastics and other homogeneous materials.
The sound velocities can be adjusted by the
user to allow for the measurement of a more diverse range of
materials. The sensor for this device has been designed for
objects that require a measurement of their edge. The device is
shipped calibrated. An additional ISO laboratory calibration
with certificate can be ordered with the device or when an
annual recalibration is required.

- Coupling gel
The standard kit includes a tube of coupling
gel. If you are aware that you have to performs a
large number of measurements you can order more gel from us.
We recommend that you use the coupling
gel to improve the contact between the sensor head and the
object being measured to protect the surface of the object
from the sensor. |
