PCE-VUS Ultrasonic Flow
Meter Ultrasonic flow meter to measure the velocity of various liquids such as water / insensitive to shocks and solid objects in the environment
|
The PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow meter is a non-contact measuring sensor. The PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow meter is the ideal flow sensor when both duration and resistance are very important. The PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow meter allows an accurate detection of the flow without counting moving pieces. The PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow meter is an essential device for measuring moving parts, for instance winged wheels. The liquid flows through a straight stainless steel tube isolated from any external elements. The ultrasonic transducer is located outside the pipe and does not have any contact with the environment. The measuring principle of the PCE-VUS ultrasonic flow meter is based on the ultrasonic transit time. There are two ultrasonic devices located in the external measurement tube. Both transducers are used as transmitter and receiver, sending an ultrasonic signal in the current direction and then in reverse. The difference between the two ultrasonic velocities is proportional to the mean flow velocity. If you cannot find the ultrasonic flow meter you are looking for, click here.
